Multimedia Services

audio2 The Freedman Center's Multimedia Services offer the Case community the opportunity to learn to use multimedia equipment to create and edit media projects. The Center features workstations dedicated to various types of multimedia projects, such as scanning and video editing. We also check out equipment such as digital video cameras, voice recorders, and accompanying equipment, such as tripods and microphones.

Media Workstations

The Freedman Center's multimedia workstations are Windows-based with a full load set of sotware from Adobe, Sony Media, Apple, and more. With a full compliment of multimedia technology you can:

  • Digitize audio and video from any source: DVD, VHS, Beta, DV Tape, laserdisc, CD, cassette tape, LP;
  • Perform optical character recognition (OCR);
  • Input digital images and multimedia files into electronic dissertations;
  • Edit sound and video.
